Rest in Peace Cory Monteith
The first time I ever saw Cory Monteith was as a doomed camper in Wendigo. From the opening sequence, you know he's probably not going to last long, but he still caught your attention. A few months later, I began watching Glee and was pleasantly surprised to see him as the lead. It didn't take long for me to fall in love with the bumbling jock who didn't always say the right thing or know what to do, but he always tried and had his heart in the right place. The same could probably be said for Cory. He had his problems, as the media will no doubt play up in the coming weeks. But you know what? It always seemed like his heart was in the right place and he kept trying. Finn wasn't perfect, and neither was Cory, but that is exactly why I fell for them both.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all those who knew him and those who admired him. He touched a lot of lives, and he will be sorely missed.
