but those ap classes, they don't count for the unweighted gpa, right? or not as much as broward county makes it look like they count? weighted i have a 4.3, but that's just because i take all honors.

isn't new college one of those "we don't believe in grades and we sit in bean bags instead of desks" schools? i think that's the only school i'd consider in florida. maybe uf. but yeah, i would much rather be in new york or london or paris or something.

New College is alot like Hampshire College in Mass., where my bff goes. They don't have grades they have written evaluations from the teacher which is kind of cool. That's about all I know about it.

My sister is a freshman at New College. Apparently, each of her teachers made each student sign a contract at the beginning of the semester saying that they would attend every class and turn in every assignment, or else risk being kicked out of the class.

On the other hand, New College is pretty cheap, and she always sounds happy whenever she calls. The people who go there are supposedly worlds apart from the people around here(in a good way, I'm told).

New College is a very small school. Whereas most big universities can enroll thousands of students, the New College website says that there are only 650 students enrolled. I'm not sure how many students actually apply there, though.

Their website is www.ncf.edu. If you want to know anything else, I can ask my sister or get you her e-mail address or something.
