the pictures from st. augustine came out fabulous(ly?). these are the first two rolls i've developed in color from this camera. i am severely pleased.
i went trick-or-treating in my costume that nobody gets. i was robert smith. i came downstairs and showed my mom today and she said, "who are you, edward scissorhands?"
all signs point to infertility. they had to squeeze my arm really hard to get a half a pint of blood out. i also got a haircut. now, i didn't photoshop these much, so you can sort of see my freckles. i feel so naked. this is a really rare occurance.
my mother said, "who are you, amelie?" and she is just overflowing with the characters of my favorite movies names today. (my hair looks nothing like amelie's. my mother says this everytime it gets cut shorter.)
guess what else happened today. i bought a pink track jacket and a blue and green striped sweater. it's fall, baby. (i think i would be more inclined to run and begin to train and ruin my knees some more for track if the air was a little cooler, though. does douglas even have a track team?) after i bought those my mother and i ate pasta. a cute boy served us at the restaurant and they played a lot of frank sinatra. that helped in getting me back into my frank sinatra phase. remember that lizzie mcguire episode where they all dressed up like the 40s?
someone gave me an apple while i trick-or-treated and i'm afraid to eat it because of that whole razor blade in the apple thing from the 70s. there was a forensic files marathon on tonight. "you're an artist, not a scientist!" said my mother. she turned off her cell phone for half the day today. i can't wait to collapse into bed tonight. this is going to be the best alone ever. just because i'm so tired.
