Summer jobs en France/BUNAC question

Salut tout le monde!
I'm so happy to have found this community and was wondering if any of you would be able to give me some advice. I'm currently a university student in the US, but will graduate in May and am not looking forward to joining the traditional workforce just yet. I studied abroad in Strasbourg with my university in the fall of 2007 and had an absolutely incredible time. I would love to live in France again, but I'm quickly discovering that working abroad is full of complications. In addition, I am proficient in French, but very hesitant to call myself fluent. My comprehension is very good, but my verbal skills are definitely rusty and could use some work.

So, BUNAC is offering a work abroad program in France this summer that helps American students obtain a work visa for 3 months. The fee for this is $675, however, and does not seem to include job placement help. I'm worried that I might spend that money (in addition to plane tickets and housing) and then discover that I cannot find a summer job.

I have several questions: Is this program worth it? Would I have a chance at finding a job? And, if yes, where/how should I start looking for jobs?

I would really appreciate any guidance! Merci beaucoup!!
