my mom's surgery was today. it went great. she's feeling good, and she was able to come home tonight. it's such a relief knowing that she's going to be fine. she's so important to me, the thought of not having her around is just unacceptable. i spent a lot of the day at the hospital with her and my dad, and then went home for a bit to see her once they got back.
i'm just glad it's all over.
