Fic Request
Are we allowed to ask for stuff to be written? If not, just let me know and I'll delete this post.
This idea that I had is the product of many long sleepless nights and a conversation with zempasuchil . She mentioned that Disney had had plans to make a slavery-themed park. This awful idea made me think about the Seven Dwarves and that maybe they're victims of a cruel imperialist system. But none of them know it but Dopey, who's really an idiot-savant.
Then one of them, I'm thinking Bashful, finds a mysterious lamp and rubs it. All of them can tell that the Genie is a slave because he's bound in chains of magic. But the parallels with their own existence is completely invisible to them, because they're a part of the system. And it doesn't even occur to them to ask for freedom.
I want this story so badly, but I have no time to write it. Or if you want to draw a picture or make a comic strip or something, that would be awesome.
