50 movies! =O I don't think I watched 10 last year, all the way through at least. LOL.
I do recommend, however, Phone Booth. Why Phone Booth? I have no idea why I thought of it tbh, it just popped into my head. And it is a great movie. =D
And watch Hannibal Rising!! How could I forget that! Gaspard Ulliel-ness!! xD
The person I stole it from had 100. That was just.. too much. Lol.
I did watch phone booth, it's great.
Hannibal rising is funny to mention. Actually, I wasn't too fond of Gaspard untill I saw the trailer. But GOD it's so hot. I really want to watch it, even though I will never ever watch any of the other Hannibal movies (the older hannibal scares me to pieces)!
It scares you really? :) You see this is where people think I'm totally retarded - I just laugh in the gorey parts and laugh in the death scenes and laugh where laughter was not the intended emotion outcome.
Oh no, it's not the gory parts really. It's the actor. He just plays it ... too convincing. Hannibal himself scares me. He's so freakin'smart. I don't really care about the gore and deaths and all that.
I suck at summarising films so: Griet is a maid in the house of painter Johannes Vermeer. Vermeer's wealthy patron and sole means of support, Van Ruijven, commissions him to paint Griet with the intent that he will have her for himself before it is finished. She must somehow secretly pose for the crucial painting without the knowledge of Vermeer's wife, avoid Van Ruijven's grasp, and protect herself from the cruel gossip of the world of a 17th century servant.
50 years into the future, the Sun begins to die, and Earth is dying as a result. A team of astronauts are sent to revive the Sun - but the mission fails. Seven years later, the crew of the Icarus 2 are sent into deep space to reignite the sun, after the failure of the first mission.
It's way cooler than it sounds. It's kind of a homage to movies like Alien, Solaris, and so on. But it's got it's own originality. And awesome special effects. Very beautiful soundtrack, as well. ;D

Well, like I told you it's about this girl who is sent to boarding school, and set in the room with two girls who are best friends. Later, she founds out they're lovers, and when one of them is found by her younger sister, and nearly outed, the whole affair starts to crumble. :p

I recommend.. Hmmmm. Sunshine! It's an amazing independent Sci-Fi by director Danny Boyle, and it has an amazing cast (including Cillian Murphy!). <3
