I got here at Slateport quite a bit faster thanks to Surf. Surprisingly enough, the line to board the S.S. Tidal wasn't very long at all. I found that a bit puzzling. Then again, it's almost midnight. You don't find that many trainers or people getting on boats this late. I got lucky that this is the one day they're burning the midnight oil.
I had almost forgotten what it was like to ride on a ship. The stars are magnificent to look at from my window, and especially from the deck of the ship. I almost wish I had someone here with me to watch them with but ehh...
Speaking of which, it was hard to leave mom because she repeated over and over how much she was gonna miss me. But eventually, she caved in. I have her PokeCel number so she told me that I should call in regularly.
Also, I still need to find someone to go with. Hopefully, I can get someone to agree to go with me. I promised my mom since I'm going to a completely different region. Hmm...
I guess I should end it here. I should go stare out at the night sky. The stars are great to look at right now.
