Deadpool had not been hiding since Saturday. Not at all.

He had just been... Cleaning. Yes, cleaning house.

Lots of cleaning.

For when the husband returned.

Odd how cleaning meant hiding in his office and watching an ANTM marathon.

Kabuto wasn't looking for trouble. He was exploring.

And if that exploring happened to lead him to the Yondaime Hokage's husband's old office, well...

"You're still here," Kabuto said by way of introduction, watching Deadpool from the doorway. The hood on his cloak was up, hiding the left side of his face in shadow.

Deadpool frowned. "Was I supposed to leave, Mr. Creepy Hood Man?"

"I'm surprised Naruto's father hasn't made you move back to Konoha in the past twenty years," Kabuto said, shaking his head. The movement pushed his hood back, but he didn't try to hold it on. "It's been a long time, Deadpool-sensei."

"Nice to see that you're still all creepy." Deadpool eyed him warily. "Well... if he wanted to. Did he mention that or something?"

"'Still'?" Kabuto repeated, curious. "I don't remember meeting up with you since I graduated from here. Though, if you're getting news through Arashi, I suppose it makes sense..." He walked over to Deadpool's desk, looking at the tv. "...That woman's forehead rivals even Sakura-san's."

"Well it does have a small moon orbiting it..." Wade replied vaguely. "I saw you... what, a couple weeks ago? You were all teenage and less edgy, of course, but still saw you."

"So this really is twenty years in the past?" Kabuto asked, not terribly surprised. "This school always was insane." Wow, those models really weren't wearing much.

Well, they were models. And that one was kinda slutty.

"No, no, no. This is the present. You're from the future."

"But from a different future than everyone else here," Kabuto pointed out. "Apparently, I married Ino in her timeline." He shivered at the thought.

"That kid from Nate's shop?" Deadpool asked, slight horrified too. "Dear god, that poor woman!"

"We have twins," Kabuto told him, enjoying the reaction. "I'd never do that, but I suppose my other self is happy enough."

"And on drugs? Is he on drugs? Did he drug her? I don't know why I'm so focused on the drugs." A beat. "I think it might be Janice."

[sound_loyalty]

"No, no drugs. I don't think he needs them. I've never had a use for them." Kabuto paused, then had to ask, "...Janice?"

Deadpool pointed out a woman whose bosom might resemble Tsunade's. Only more plastic. "That one. With the soul destroying eyes."

"..." Kabuto's right eye twitched noticeably. "She could give Orochimaru-sama a run for his money."

"It's like staring into the abyss and finding that it has a nice rack."
