I've figured out what the tattoo for my left shoulder, to mirror the one on my right shoulder, will be! It'll be the kanji butsu (Buddha) over a blossoming lotus flower, so it'll be circular and balance the koi tattoo, and it'll balance the kami part of the tattoo in meaning.
I also think that, after that one and the bodhi or bonsai tree across my lower back, the main part of my back will be taken up by a dharma wheel featuring the eight auspicious signs OR the eight auspicious signs themselves.
LOL never going to have the money for any of that but um I CAN DREAM CAN'T I? D:
