[TRANSLATION] TAKUMI'S BLOG - MAY 7, 2012

Jun 07, 2012 11:11

Alright, this is a pretty rough translation of Takumi’s personal blog post. I’m sure you all know it by now, but it looks like YFC will be breaking up. I still think it might be a hiatus considering how busy everyone is. And it’s not just Gackt and Jon, but you can see how busy Takumi is from this entry. A lot of people are still confused and upset (or not, whatever floats your boat), but take a look at the post and come to your own decisions.

YFC's Budoukan live decision!

It’s been a fairly long time since I updated this blog.
I’m sorry to everyone that looks forward to my blogs.

Last month was considerably busy.
With a feeling of biorhythms and a downward curve, many irritating incidents happened.
Like I was dragged into negative power, I put a considerable amount of kiai into it.

“What kind of crazy things will happen in May?” I gave myself a pep talk every day.
However, I took an upwards turn in my troubles.

I looked back and saw that May calendar.

Everyday I did running and three weeks of training!!
Every week is YFC’s Nicoradi!!
In addition, there’s song composition and meetings!!

All of this practically summed up my life.

In private, Gackt got me to play along.
I also got to go drinking with Yoshiki.

The aura of those two men is fierce.
I’m enlightened.

I held a guitarists’ gathering.
The gatherings were quick because there were three of them.

At this time, I am now an executive, lol.
It’s a great honor, and this schedule will become less hectic and miraculous.

The members are rapidly increasing.
However, in this way, I am collecting the hard-working members.

I’m working with these members for the first time:
Luna Sea’s and X Japan’s Sugizo
Siam Shade’s Daita
LM.C’s Aiji
The GazettE’s Reita and Aoi
Alice Nine’s Hiroto

I’m working with these artists for a second time:
Dir en Grey’s Kaoru
Nightmare’s Sakito
One OK Rock’s Tooru

I’m working with these artists for a third time:
Dead End’s You
Grat’s Hisashi
Creature Creature’s Shinobu
Baroque’s Kei

Being young among the legends of J-rock, this meeting will be definitely exciting.

And, and
YFC’s big decision live
will be in one month at the Nippon Budoukan!!!

It’s a sudden announcement, but YFC will have a break-up event.
All things have a beginning and an end.
The music that YFC created will last forever.

Like the title says, make sure you see it with your own eyes!!

I still don't know what to think in all honesty. I'm upset, but logic is telling me that it's just a hiatus and that they'll be back when all the members can devote themselves to it again. I mean, YFC is just a side project after all. It's not something they all planned to throw away their own projects for. Gackt's got the play, Jon is busy with fade, and Takumi is obviously working his ass off too. So it's only natural that this would happen someday.

I'm not going to lie though, I am pretty upset. I loved YFC a ton. I loved their music and I loved them all. And I didn't get the chance to see them. But, just because they've made this announcement doesn't mean they've broken promises or have completely abandoned YFC and YFC fans. They'll get back together and finish up touring and maybe put more songs when their own lives have calmed down. Maybe it'll take awhile, but we all have to be patient and confident that they'll be back. I'd wait for both Gackt and YFC for as long as it takes.

This is something YFC probably decided together, and I'm almost certain there's more things we don't know. Information will either be released in time or at the actual show. But I'm confident they'll be back. Maybe it's the end for now, but maybe it won't be the end forever.
