What a fabulous day

I had a fantastic day.

I hadn't spent much time with toughlovemuse and owldaughter in a while, and especially not all together. We had a blast. There were biscuits and muffins, carrot cake preserves and clotted cream, baked brie with onion jam, and tea sandwiches (with the crusts cut off!) and delicious tea. We ate so much food I'm amazed any of us could walk at all at

Yes, talk about books! I want to know what you read.

I'm the same way about series books. And once I start a series, I HAVE to have all the next ones, asap. I can't like, finish one and then get the next one. I want them all rightnow, so I can see them lined up waiting for me. It's ridiculous, really.

And that sounds like a lovely day. Mine was shitty, so I enjoyed yours vicariously. :)

Hey, why don't you post your address in my other post? It's screened, and I am going to try to get my act together this year for greeting cards (Generic Seasonal Greetings, as my friend prolixfootle would say!). Sparkly cards in the mail are always fun. :)

It's too bad about the job: I seem to recall you were optimistic about it at first. It might still improve with time.
