BILLIE'S HOME!!!! And other news...
I'm so exicted!!! Billie's back in state and I get to see her after I see my Avs play the Kings tomorrow. She's coming for Flavor of the Week and to see me... I've missed her so terribly! I love her so!
Flavor of the Week is on me, since Andrew didn't get the check he thought he was getting. I'm doing Samchilladas (which have nothing to do with Enchilladas, but the name sounded good...). I'm pretty excited. Robbie, my ex, is coming too. He's off drugs, but still smokes pot. So that's fun. ^_^ He should fit in well, and I think Red will like him since they have that "I was a druggie idiot" past going on. They both have some great stories. I think Lindz is bringing Megan too, and I like her. I'm kind of glad Dez couldn't make it. She kind of gets on my nerves...
So. Since his surgery, and waking up in copious amounts of pain... Red has been doing much better. The Percocets are working, nicely, and he's been pleasant. He's been sleeping on the sofa, though. It's kind of nice, because I don't have to deal with him getting up 20 times to take pills, but I miss cuddling up to him at night. The main advantage of his sleeping on the sofa is that he has the sofa rigged to keep his hand elevated, which minimizes his morning pain (and keeps him from waking up screaming again).
Other than that, I've been cleaning, and going to school.
I totally got to run my awesomeness in Ron's face. He gave up this JavaScript book, but I couldn't make heads or tails of it, so I bought a better book for learning. When I shared this with my classmates they all wanted it, because NONE of us understood the assigned text. So, he had to swallow his pride and order it for them, as well as acknowledging my awesomeness, since I'm the one who located better books.
Go me!
