(no subject)
Well, the verdict is in on David the poodle's balding - apparently, I am bathing him (and his brother poodle Nick) too often. Every 5 days is too much for a poodle, apparently. Who knew? The vet (who is actually a real hotty - it's never a burden to take the boys to see him) gave me vitamin supplements to increase the health of their skin and coats, a nice smelling spray I can use on them everyday, and a scolding for shampooing them so much. However, he did say that I can rinse them as often as I want, even every day, so that cheered me a bit. A daily rinse and brushing with a sprintz of that yummy blackberry/vanilla doggy cologne should make them tolerable between baths. I refuse to sleep with a funky dog.
My daughter is here today and we are vegetating. She stays here on weekends and usually we spend them running the roads, but this weekend I'm just not up for it. I plan to watch dS epidsodes, watch dS vids, read dS fic, and perhaps make more dS art. And eat. A lot. And maybe even take a nice long nap. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....
