(no subject)
Well, I've been sitting here doing my english coursework during my study block, and I just realised that it's been a long time since I last updated this thing, so I may as well do it now.
We had our school Christmas Ball on the 1st December. It was an amzing night and I had loads of fun with everyone... until we got thrown out! Some people trashed their rooms and had a big fight in front of the manager, so he told us all to leave which was really annoying.
7th December I had my interview at Cambridge University. I wasn't that keen on going there anyway, so I wasn't really nervous. It went really badly, the interviewer starting asking my stuff about the wrong work and when I tried to correct him he got annoyed with me. I didn't get in, but it doesn't matter because I don't want to spend three years with that pompous idiot anyway!
I got accepted by all the other universities I applied to, so I put Hull as my firm and Aston as my insurance choice. Hull has an open day in the House of Lords to discuss their placement scheme, and it got me really really excited. I want to do it now!!
Christmas was nice, just the usual day in with the family. I'm going to miss them all next year!
I've got everything sorted for New York except my travel insurance, which I'll do sometime in the next fortnight. I'm starting to get quite excited about it now.
I had my sociology exam yesterday which went ok. It wasn't hard, but it wasn't really easy either so I'm not sure what kind of mark I got.
Well, nothing else has really happened lately. I'll try not to leave it so long before I update this again.
