Both performances went off without a 'major' hitch. A few flubbed lines, the pomegranate breaking too soon, and running about twice as fast as was needed, but it went well, all together. Hardly an audience, though, but its not that surprising as we only announced it a week ago and this is a small town who only cares about sports. But I digress...

I finished my first pair of pants! You know, the pants I started a year ago when I was stuck at home and never finished until now? Yep, those white, cotton pants. They are very comfortable, but are completely see-though and therefore un-wearable. But at least now I know how to make them, so I'll probably make another pair sometime.

Have no idea what to get my family/friends for Christmas, other than my mom and brother. (Mum is getting a brooch and my brother is getting a sword.) My sister I can probably get something cute, but I have no idea what to get my dad. Or where I'm going to get to money. Why is it all ways December when I need money the most?

But its almost Thanksgiving, and so,
1. My family. Default stop on the Thankfulness bus. I have one of the best families ever, and I didn't realize it till they agreed to go to RenFest three times with me. Now that, thats love.
2. Indoor cats. Really, this is a mixed bag, but I'm so glad that they're safe in the house at night.
3. My friends. Sure, they tease me mercilessly about somethings, but they are still super awesome.
4. My teachers. Because I've been able to go home most days and not had any homework, at when you're at school practicing till 5, that makes a world of difference.
5. My sewing machine. Even though I've been a motherfraker to this thing, it continues to go and go and go...30 years old and it keeps on moving! ('Twas my grandmother's)
6. My iron, cause he's hot. ;)
7. Tessa. Tomorrow we are going to deliver turkey dinners, and without her, the FCCLA would still be just a name on a wall. She makes me feel horrible that I'm not doing more.
8. FCCLA. For making my schedule hectic, but giving me something to do.
9. My mom. For helping me though my blood, sweat and tears when I needed it the most.
10. Mathematics. Because other wise, I'd still be messing around with gored skirts.
11. Unexpected. For giving me something interesting to listen to when I'm sewing.
12. Joss and Firefly. Because its awesome.
13. The school cafeteria. For now selling pickles.
14. Everyone at Renfest. For not making fun/getting mad when I'm dressed in period but not in character.
15. Mara and Liz. For letting me do my first theater costumes in their plays.

play, sewing, thankful, christmas
