What is the meaning of life?

As an atheist, especially being an active one, I think the meaning of life is personal satisfaction and enjoyment, while also striving to make the world better for future generations. In my case, that means fighting for equality and social justice. This is my highly personalized version of the meaning of life

If there had to be a meaning, I'd say; be happy. But I'd be just as comfortable saying the meaning of life is not to have a meaning, but to simply live. I've been thinking that a lot lately.
