just over there
not so far away
filled to the brim
with living water
cool and refreshing
it revives the tired
soothes the hurting
quenches the thirst
yet they don't go back
as often as they should
to drink again and again
time passes
though the river is always there
ready to give life
to revive the tired

it's not hard to find
to reach
or to drink from
but they don't always go back
to drink like they should
