the alligator rears its ugly head again
i hate boring people. i really do. here comes this boy out of the blue after a month of ignoring me. apparently i was too much of an "asian drama queen" for him that he had to block me (please refer to that conversation here). and now here he comes again, with his serenade of stupidity. he asked me what's been going on and i told him. i poured it out. i wanted to see what he would say at the end. and of course, OF COURSE, it was a...

silentwisp: i've been working on my senior thesis
silentwisp: i finished that
silentwisp: so i stripped my carpets and installed hard wood floors
silentwisp: i also painted my walls dark purple and my ceiling white

silentwisp: i worked for the government for a few hours, for a matrimonial law office for another, and for a financial consulting firm for the third
silentwisp: all through a temp agency- now i work for starwood hotels, the company that manages the sheraton, the regis, the westin hotels, and a bunch of luxury hotels
AKITARENT: ohh that hot
silentwisp: i'll be working with them till may- then i start camp
AKITARENT: hook me and alex up with deals j/k
silentwisp: academically i just got my paper back and i have to revise it
silentwisp: i got another article i wrote published
silentwisp: then i got invited to present it a conference next month
silentwisp: then i worked with wagner to find me funding for my trip
silentwisp: that took a while - i finally got it
silentwisp: i applied to boston college for acceptance in their dept of romance languages and literatures
AKITARENT: awesome!
silentwisp: i also applied to be a new york city teaching fellow
silentwisp: and was asked to interview for that
silentwisp: i also interviewed to be a sub at my old school district
silentwisp: and also played beethoven's 9th with my old orchestra
silentwisp: and am playing more music with them for a concert next tuesday
silentwisp: i managed to get laid several times
silentwisp: and today i just got into boston college with a full scholarship
silentwisp: happy?

now, five minutes after his "yep", still nothing.

the redeeming part of this conversation is that i didn't realize how much i've done in the past two and a half months. now i don't feel so bad that my room is still a mess and i have yet to organize my photo collection from freshman year.
