Jason Deruuuuuuuulio

Just back from surprise NYC visit with timeripple. well, it wasn't a surprise, but the sudden cheapness of the 39th street Pod Hotel for the month of July meant that we did it a few weeks earlier than originally planned. It was hot as hell and I'm exhausted, but we did have udon and wafel truck wafels, and sing something like 5+ hours of JE karaoke. I want ( Read more... )

I honestly don't know what your postes says because the subject line killed me. Like snorted, choked, and died. My friends and I joked that we would never know who was singing if he didn't say his name in every song. And then, the one time he didn't say his name in a song, we actually had no idea who was singing.

Oh wait. I see now. That sucks about your laptop. :(

my brother, who knows not a damn thing about JE, also understands about the Jason Derulio, and we laugh about it all the time. When I got Test Drive, I didn't know Derulio does that in every song, I just knew he was reasonably popular, and so I asked my brother casually if he knew who that was, and my brother's response was "JASON DERUUUUULIO" and I just lost it laughing because I had no idea how he knew about that.

Eh, it's okay. Shoon's 4 years old, so it's to be expected. Honestly the only sucky thing is that new batteries aren't cheap, and I'll probably look into getting a new laptop soon, but not soon enough to prevent me dropping the money on a battery that hopefully won't explode any time soon.

Ahahaha! That's kind of hilarious. He's known more for saying his own name than actually singing!

Man, that sucks! I'm having a similar situation with my phone, but I don't get an upgrade until November. Fingers crossed our babies both survive as long as we need them too!

There's a pod hotel?? I am so dumb about my own city! (Well, okay, I technically don't live there, but close enough!!)

I was just going to email you, because Di just buzzed me. Junsu is coming (solo tour) to the Hammerstein on August 30. My friend Trea's going to come down from Toronto as well, so let me know if you're interested! (It's a Thursday night right before Labor Day weekend. When does school start for you?)

Also, Test Drive is total crack! ♥ Jin! Did you sing it in English or Japanese? :-P Boo about your battery. Yeah - a safety feature so that your laptop doesn't EXPLODE IN YOUR LAP! I don't even! Hope you can get it fixed!

There are 2 Pod Hotels, as of now, actually! They are actually pretty cool. We like the bunkbeds the best.

Yeah, I'll be back in school by then, and we never get that Friday off (we get the Monday) anymore. We used to! Alas!

But we should organize a visit before the end of summer though. Like mid-August maybe? We should hit up that soup dumpling place and/or dinner with musesfool.

Test Drive is only in English, such as it is, haha. Japanese-style karaoke is so much fun~

August 17 (Friday night) I'm taking my niece and nephew (and my sis LOL) to see BTR. ANd August 24-26th I'll be in Philly. But I'm okay for the rest of the month.

It does look cool! I'd totally stay there if I was visiting!

Ugh, my mac's battery did the same thing ~a year ago, and because I usually stay plugged it, I keep putting off going to get it checked... On the off chance that there's some relatively simple fix that the store suggests, can you share?

There's really nothing to do if your battery is swelling up, since it's the cells sealed inside expanding. You'll have to either get it replaced or put up with it. I suppose if it's been that long and isn't getting worse, you could go on ignoring it, but mine puffed up enough that I couldn't use my trackpad button or my space bar properly, and musikologie said that hers eventually split open and started leaking something green.

I mean, it isn't going to explode or anything, but I can't imagine it's the safest thing either.
