Spring Break 2005 part 1
So, here it is.. half of spring break is over. I think I have more injuries from this spring break than I've ever had in my life :) I mean, first I burn my finger badly when taking out a pan of texas toast out of Jesse's oven, then Laura trips me with a computer chair and I scrape skin off the front of my shin, then I go to grab something out of my bag, and my razor takes a HUNK of skin off my finger right at the nuckle. I mean there was skin in the razor.. oh did it hurt! Then there was the sunburn I now have on half of my back cause I didn't put sunscreen on my whole back. But despite the war injuries, Spring break has been fun.
For the first weekend of spring break, I went to a Jr. High Rally for work. I know you're thinking, Work is fun?? But mine is. We had a blast. Then I got home on sunday, quickly packed again, and headed over to Jesse's house (laura's boyfriend) where Laura, Jesse, and a bunch of other people were having a lock in. I mean we just hung out untill Tuesday night. Watched some movies, ate some PF Changs in New Orleans, played some video games, bowled... it was fun. It didn't even feel like we were in Baton Rouge. I got home Tuesday, immediately re packed, and went to my Camp with Emily and Josh. Fun times... just kinda hung out (totally wooped up on Josh in Jeopardy) and soaked up some sun. Now, I'm getting ready to shop, and go back up to the camp.. (plus church today, tommrow, saturday and sunday... it's holy week). Whew.. I'm gonna need a break from Spring break!
