SNOW!
What a wonderfull Valentines day it's been.NOT! Let's see .I woke up to almost knee deep snow.My car was burried.After shoveling for 1/2 hour in knee deep drifts on the pasagners side of the car,and mid calf drifts everyplace else,i gave up and called off work on my day job. Went back out and shoveled till I freed my car enough to back it up...but to go where? the alley that runs behind my house was also filled with knee high snow.from 1 end to the other. The st. at the top of the ally [yes the ally is a hill of course] opens on to a st. that had been plowed last night and not sence. the other end of the ally ends at the bottom of the hill into a right or left turn [forget the right hand turn it's almost imposible in good weather due to a head high brick wall on the right of the car,and a over head high wooden fence on the left] the left hand turn,also tight due to that stupid wooden fence. has to go up yet another hill in another back ally that has not been plowed at all EVER! I call of work from my night job. only to find out I wasnt sculed..I was sculed LAST night I wrote down my schudel wrong. so after 2 hours of shoveling, I call ole "good pal "who owns a tow truck. He sent 2 guys [angels in disguse I'm sure] in a 4 wheel drive pick up to drag me out .Which thery did ,after nearly getting stuck and haveing a [too] close encounter with that monster fence.So now my little car is setting parked in front of my house.on a st. the city hasnt plowed [ yes I did call them up and yell at them,didnt do any good but it made me feel better] wher I will no doubt have to dig my way out at 8:00 tomorrow morning to get to work..And it's snowing again. le sigh.Hope YOUR day was better than mine.
