Having trouble getting the AWESOME?? It's easy with AWESOME-U (TM)
Hello Awesome-eers (TM)!
I was eavesdropping on a conversation between two people the other day. I want to share the AWESOME lesson gained by being within ear shot!
A man was telling his friend how he was having difficulty succeeding at a task he had set for himself. His friend listened intently, nodded a lot, and was patient as the man explained that what he wanted to do did not feel, "natural". He knew in his reasoning mind that he should be able to do it, yet felt that he was not born with the ability.
His friend, a true AWESOME-eer (TM), stopped him in mid sentence and explained to him, "Look, there was a time in your life when almost everything felt unnatural, you've had to learn how to do pretty much everything except crap your pants and bawl your brains out! You'll learn this too!"
Such rare wisdom! A flash hit me, maybe some people aren't experiencing the AWESOMENESS at levels they want yet because THEY HAVEN'T LEARNED HOW! It's that simple.
This is where the creative imagination plays a part. There are many ways to create a model of an AWESOME-U (TM)! Some people visualize themselves standing tall, breathing deeply, smiling, and literally step forward into that created person. Others add the sweet sounds of AWESOME, mostly a lot of roaring crowds cheering you on and all of your favorite songs. Some can feel the AWESOME as they are sitting in that chair reading this entry right now. Of course, you can mix and blend and increase the power of all of these, what are you doing?
The Mountain has always believed that no one is broken or damaged goods, merely people who could probably learn how to do things in much more useful, AWESOME ways! Some people might have to start now by learning how to feel really AWESOME first and then jump into their AWESOME goals and outcomes!
Want to bake a cake, build a bridge, or have a successful marriage/break up/partnering/commitment/sex life, etc.? Step into your newly installed AWESOME state first and then get started! Who knows, you may find that you no longer have to 'work' at anything anymore! Everything just seems to come to you in the most AWESOME ways!
