*agrees with Viva*

And blah, unrequited friendship can indeed be a very serious thing. I'd say the person telling you "get the hell over it" isn't being very considerate of your feelings. :/

And I dunno what they mean by 'temper'... I haven't read *every* LJ post you've ever made, true; but from what I've seen, your posts on the subject definitely seem 'sad', rather than 'angry'... but I dunno. Just my interpretation. .-.

I was referring to the other person, though I guess they weren't necessarily angry, just misinterpreting things until I gave them an explanation (which they admitted made sense, since they had misread something)

Oh... I guess I misinterpreted that part. :p

Though your explanation just leaves me more confused now... ah well. ^^;

Sorry? :P They said the quote about misinterpreting things, which I thought was a little hypocritical given their recent actions.

That said, I admit I'm a huge hypocrite and acted stupidly in this situation and was probably wrong.

...they said the quote about misinterpreting things?

"Be careful with your temper; if you're wrong about whatever's prompting your reaction, you risk showing people far more than they need to know."

That quote? That was what I thought the first time, but then when you said I was referring to the other person, I thought you meant that you were the one who said that, about them?

Sorry for being confused. :p

They said the original quote, then I said on this journal the part that wasn't quoted.
