Renaissance Festival
It was super fun!
I ate a ridiculous amount of food including a Scotish egg, turkey leg (or emu leg, apparently), and several macaroni&cheese on a stick, fried cheese, chocolate cheesecake on a stick, nuts, and other yummy terrible-for-my-body foods.
Best of all, this was the first time I went to the Renn Faire and actually watched several shows. And they were really funny and made me regret catching just one or two in the past. My favorite = Johnny Fox, swordswallower extraordinaire. :)
And Shrimp Shots = Yummmmmmmmmy!
Plus, it was nice to see a lot of friends.
The only draw-back was the insane amount of people there. It was okay in the beginning but toward the end it was completely nuts.
I wanted to get a couples psychic reading, but David absolutely refused. And I'm glad he did cuz after some thought it seemed like a pretty stupid thing for us to spend money on. And from talking to Erynn it didn't seem like anything special.
We bought three things to keep:
1. An om symbol wood carved wall hanging (last year we got the Earth symbol from Stargate from the same guy)
2. Pretty faerie dreads (that David ended up wearing more than me)
3. Red leather rose (1/2 price as we were walking out)
I love the things I get there cuz they're pretty unique. Some of it comes from China, I'm sure, but for the most part I'm able to pick out neat stuff.
I think I lost the camera (David's camera), but I'm hoping it's in the car.
ALSO, we learned to juggle! But I already mostly knew how, so David was really impressed.
