this is a christmas post
merry christmas, happy holidays, etc etc. this has been the most amazing christmas, it really has, even despite the lack of eli the pug's presence. here's a rundown of what santa brought me.
-an amazing, beautiful boyfriend who bought me a gorgeous owl lamp, owl bookends, a vintage wool blanket because i'm always complaining that i'm cold, and a blue plaid jacket. and then he stayed with me until 3 am and it was lovely. oh and he drew me a christmas card with a hipster santa claus on it. i love it.
-a gps. which is funny because i bought my mom one as well.
- two bottles of stella perfume
- new headphones
- new organic osage orange wooden plugs with owls etched into them
- a gourd painted as an owl
- an owl ornament
- a bread machine which i will use every goddamned day, no joke. especially because it also makes jam.
- a ticket to see naked boys singing
- an awesome courage wolf christmas card
- got to watch rene be super drunk and entertaining
- brand new's 'daisy' on vinyl because lauren and i are apparently geniuses/awesome
- a link to download the refreshments album from colin because he's the best
- the cutest card ever from irina that sits next to my mini christmas tree
and i think that's it. i definitely cant complain. spent all day baking. made cinnamon rolls for breakfast and a pumpkin cheesecake for dessert. i'm about to have dinner with my family then rene is coming over to watch a christmas story. after that if i think i can stay awake i'm going to john's, and yeah, today has just been really great.
