Anyone wanna come hang out at camp early with me???
So, if we're gonna be at Tweedale for a week of precamp, I'm figuring on at least a day before that needing to be at Tohi so that I can go through all the ropes stuff and figure out what hasn't been eaten by the hibucks ghost and all. Sooo......we all know how much I love spending quality time alone with the hibucks basement, but does anyone wanna come hang out with me so that I don't have to talk to myself???? Shine, I'm assuming you'll be there...... Anyone else? Miss Chickadee? =)
On another note, it's like 90 degrees here today. It's actually kinda nice. Beautiful summer smelling weather up here! It's nice to be walking around in shorts and feeling perfectly comfortable =)
AND I just got finished teaching THIRD GRADERS!!! Eight year olds. They were soooooooooooooo cute!!!! They were also the smartest little kids I've ever seen!!! I was explaining to them concepts that I usually explain to like the Eighth GRADERS and they actually understood them. I think that that's super neat. They were also really cute on the climbing wall. You ever notice that really little kids can fly? They don't know that they can, but it's true, because they do it when they climb. They just fly without using holds. I wish I could do that. Note to self, though. If I EVER become an elementary school teacher and I teach little kids, I am going to make sure they have a NAPTIME!!!! The kids were sooooooo crabby by the third day they were here because they hadn't slept at all in the dorms SHE HIT ME!!! SHE BUTTED IN LINE!!!! HE MADE A FUNNY FACE AT ME!!! HE LOOKED AT ME!!!! silly children. Remind me I never want to have Brownies for a whole week, either. =)
