Pruney Lifeguard
I am now officially a very pruney lifeguard. Yea! I'm glad the class is over, at least. It was fun doing the stuff in the water, but the stuff in the classroom was BOOOOOORING!!! I've heard it so many times before, and I actually felt like some of the stuff I knew more about than the instructor. Not to sound egotistical or anything...just, she's an instructor and hasn't really had that much experience DOING it, ya know? But she was a SUPER nice instructor. So now I have a lifeguard cert. Red Cross, though. And an accompanying Red Cross first aid and CPR for the professional rescuer cert. So now I have a pair of those......actually three. Two from the AHA and one from the Red Cross. Yippee.
At least the water was warm today. It was like 83, which actually STILL felt cold after we'd been sitting in there for a while......
Oh. I also emailed a copy of my re-app for camp to Chief and will send the snail mail copy tomorrow. One more thing taken care of. I hope that I don't make Chief mad by what I wrote in my email though
Anyway........Time for sleep now. So sleepy....g'night.
