>"And soon they'll all know my name
I'll have fortune and fame
When I get my name in lights
It can happen overnight in these modern times"

I don't really care about the fortune and fame thing but those lyrics are pretty fitting right now. It's a weird feeling to want something so much. It's exciting and totally nerve wracking all at the same time. The ache. The Longing. I want it so bad I can taste it. . . I'm never letting go. . . It feels to good.

I just got back from NYC it rocked my socks off per ususal. I have this problem that every time I go to NYC I never want to leave and I immediately want to go back. I'm determined to go to NYU for Grad school. . . I WILL whore myself on every street corner in NYC to make it happen. . . I will also live in a closet sized apartment w/ 4 other ppl. . . Even if they smell. It's going to happen my mind is made up. . .

So I saw Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Spamalot, and Rent. All three were amazing in there own ways. I did the stage door thing after the shows and saw all the ppl I really admire. I got pictures w/ alot of them. I'm still waiting to get the one of me and Sherie Rene Scott from my mom since it's on her camera. If you want to see pics I'll show you. I had a blast meeting everyone they were all so nice. Only disappointment was that I didn't get to meet Tim Curry or Chris Sieber. . . so sad!! Oh well. . . I met alot of cool ppl. I got to see Norbert's Butt Cheek. . .hehe. . Gergory Jbara is my new best friend.

I saw Daniell Radcliff (Harry Potter) get mobbed in time square, I saw Lindsay Lohan and wished she would fall into the puddle 4 ppl were helping her over. I also saw Matthew Broderick while walking down the street which was V. cool. I got to eat at my favorite restraunt in the city. I got to go to The Life Cafe (where Jonathon Larson hung out, also a scene in RENT takes place there) I also got to see The Moondance Diner (where Jonathon Larson worked while writing RENT) I got to hang out in Greenwich Village alot which is a place I LOVE. I went to a flea market there twice this trip and got some cool stuff. . . I felt like I was in the song "Christmas Bells" from RENT. I got to wear my Sexy Pirate Coat. . . I got to be in NYC. . . happiness. . . plain happiness. . .

This is going to sound weird but this last weekend in NYC was the first weekend in an incredibly long time I felt REALLY good about myself. Like I don't know how to describe it but I felt SOO good about myself. So confident, pretty, I venture to say a little sexy even. I felt like I belong there and that I myself good take on the city with no problems. I felt like a New Yorker which is what I want to be more than anything. I know I belong there. I felt it. It felt so good. I felt SOOO good about myself, you have no idea how good it felt to feel that good about myself after so long.

I had Brunch at the Tavern on the Green. . . this is where my wedding reception will be. I claim it. It's mine. The Crystal Room and the Garden. . . they are mine. . . It will be beautiful I LOVE it there at night it's SOO beautiful.

So seals in central park is weird. I saved a dog in central park from running away from its owner. I rock.

Got lots of theatre stuff.

EVERYONE needs to go there over the summer. . . because -I- say so!! So start whoring now!

I'm psyched about my play. I feel like I'm finally going somewhere with it and that it could take me somewhere. . . I know it will. . . It has to. . . I have faith in it!!!

Love you all!!!

~Meg

P.S. Today I've got an appointment w/ the Theatre Advisor. I'm changing my major! NYU here I come!
