My new buddy

I bought a newt today!!! and a dwarf frog! But I really love the newt, if it's possible I say he was checking me out in the store instead of the other way around. The cute booger was interacting with me and everything else. Anyways we bring him home and he's climbing around on the heater that I bought him and I say to Jonathan that I'm afraid he'll use the heater to climb out...Jonathan convinced me it wouldn't work that way and we went on to the game. Came home and I went to check on him and I couldn't find him, it really scared me cause he was in Jonathan's room and I was afraid we'd never find him and he may already be dead or something. I started picking shit up, praying we didn't have to go through all the boxes and the first thing I picked up (well was a pillow) but the next thing was a bag and I was about to sit it down and I barely saw the poor thing. He'd turned really dark and barely moved when I touched him but I put him back in the tank and after a few he started feeling better and his color lightened back up. Anyways, I found the lid for the tank and closed the heater hole with a Jon-Saint Germain business card so I hope he doesn't get back out. I put the frog in the big tank but I'm thinking about moving him in with the newt. My pleco that hasn't ever grown was put in with the newt and the tank was covered in algae and now it's not. It'd been sitting there empty for awhile. I'm so happy my newt is ok. I'll put up photos later.

In other news Jonathan got called back for a second interview with the General Manager of Holiday Inn Select Downtown. The lady that did the first interview called her three best picks back to interview with the GM, she said she'd call Jonathan and let him know no matter what so we should know sometime next week. I'm excited for him and hope he gets it and likes it and what not. The pay will be good and he gets free lunches at the hotels restraunt.
