[Like most people in Luceti, Saleh recognized the eclipse in the sky as an ill omen. Regardless, what he's seeing now is nothing short of a complete surprise for him.]
By all that's holy… Monsters? In this world? How is this possible??
[No doubt that these are the same fiends that had begun to appear in Magvel. Saleh wastes no more time wondering how they ended up in Luceti, and instead brings out his tomes to begin destroying these monsters. A group of Revenants slowly approaches from his left. Saleh faces them, casting his Divine spell; a beam of light rising from where he stood, and dropping down onto the Revenants, sending them scattering in all directions as they hit the ground. A Bonewalker attacks next, swinging its sword towards the sage's throat. Saleh ducks as he moves towards one of the houses still standing to ensure that nothing could attack him from behind. However, a gray gargoyle dives from the sky, thrusting its spear into his right shoulder, pinning him to the wall.]
Urgh!
[He retaliates by casting his Fire spell, throwing a fireball directly into the gargoyle's chest, propelling it several feet away, dropping its spear. Saleh himself drops to one knee, clutching his bleeding shoulder tightly. He looks up as more fiends approach. He can't give up; he won't let himself die without fulfilling his duty.]
[But then he is tackled to the ground by a Mauthe Doog. He holds up his arm to guard his face, screaming in agony as the demon dog savagely rends it with its razor sharp fangs. He could use some help…]
[OOC: So yeah, I've thrown in the monsters of FE8 into the mix, since they kinda were summoned by the final boss, and can be controlled by a heretic. Feel free to throw in any other beasts you want into your tags.]
