I know I ran out of excuses for my absence here but it was very eventful and crazy summer for me. At first it felt like things had been so slow and then Boom! and it's already september.
Well, first thing first. We've finally finished with kitchen and bathroom capital repair. Few weeks full of dragging furniture around our flat and smell of paint and other materials and we have new rooms! Do you really think it was the end of it? No! Now it was women (our) time to find all those things we wanted to beautify the place and in the end I looked with pure pride at our doings. For few days I looked at them and still couldn't believe that it was really our new kitchen and so on. It would be the best thing of the summer if not for the trip, the one that felt like dreams came true.
I've FINALLY managed to convince my mum to fly to her motherland. We've spent two weeks with her old friends whom she hadn't seen for thirty years. I've finally seen the place I'm from and it was wonderful. Water springs right on streets so you can drink whenever you want to do that. Grapes on wires. Mountains that can be seen almost from each place in the town. And of course hot summer wheather, granted when we started our trip the temperature we left behind was around ten degrees. Thus we prolonged our summer. The only problem I had was absolutely unfamiliar letters everywhere. Now I understand what you feel looking at my other journal (in russian). Lucky for me the tour service were served in three languages thus I had no problems in understanding and could not only walk around the city but also visit mountain lakes ( At some height there were no other inhabitants except for us and cows.)
and monasteries that were cut right in rocks. Guess I made billion of photoes, lol,
