I've used Korean mink blankets for my bed literally since I was a child. No, they're not made of mink fur; they're usually a mix of acrylic and/or polyester. They are awesome blankets -- soft, plush, and man do they ever hold the Mountain Spring Downy scent well. The mink blanket I had on my bed I have had since before I moved out of my parents house. Over the years, it has gotten a thinner and lost much of its plush so last week I decided to order another one. I'm so glad I did.
Last night, the temperature dropped into the mid-40's and I slept with my bedroom windows open. It was pretty chilly in my room, but curled up under a nice, new mink blanket I felt like I slept extremely well. I usually do sleep better when it's a little cold in my bedroom because I can just continue to sleep underneath the blanket instead of tossing them off of me if I get too warm. What a great thing to have! :D
