Things

I just put together a 16" oscillating fan that I bought over a year ago. Hooray for procrastination. I actually bought two of them -- one for downstairs and one for upstairs. The one downstairs has been in use since the day I bought it. I'm not sure why I waited so long.

I bought a back washer a little over a month ago. I like it. My left arm is pretty flexible and I've been able to reach way behind me to wash, but every once in awhile when my arms are sore from working out I'm not as flexible. I'm pretty sure there is one small patch of my back that hasn't been washed in years, but now everything's kosher. Using the brush has extended my shower scenes by 2-3 minutes, though.

It's really nice outside. On my lunch ride, though, I could smell the blooming of my arch-nemesis: Ragweed. Also, on my ride yesterday, I encountered clouds of gnats which were partially consumed by me (not by choice, I assure you). Insects and allergies are two things I don't look forward to when spring finally decides to arrive around these parts.

I have an ultrasonic cool mist humidifier that I've been running throughout the winter. It stayed pretty warm last night and I have difficult getting to sleep at 8:00 if my bedroom is too warm. I've noticed that the humidifier keeps my bedroom cooler. Imagine that.
