Wow, really? Take offense much?
I used to work at a casual dining family oriented restaurant (it closed and I didn't want to commute to the next nearest part of the franchise) but now I work in a diner/drive-through/burger joint type place. Anyway, the other day there is a woman with a small child in the store and the kid is screaming his head off. She takes him outside to calm him down. A co-worker of mine noticed that they were standing right in the middle of the drive-thru lane and went out to warn them that the folks that come through the drive-thru aren't always looking where they are going. This is the exchange:
coworker: Hi there! I just want to give you a heads up to be on the look out for cars coming through the drive-thru. They don't always look where they are going.
Freakout lady: ANYONE ELSE WANT TO COME OUT HERE AND TELL ME HOW TO RAISE MY KID??
coworker: ...
So is it just me or does that response not make any sense at all?
