Yeah dude, totally. Let's do it. Write me something! Here's what I'm looking for, and pardon my specificity but I want to make sure I don't bite off more than I can chew:
-Somewhere between, say 3-8 pages. Less than 3 won't give me much practice, but the higher the page count the more likely I am to burn out or get sidetracked before it's completed.
-Any scenario. It doesn't have to be "Spooktown" related or what have you if that's not what you're looking to do, but I'll take that as well. Basically, I just want to draw sequentials of any kind, and I'd like having someone I know write the script so that a) whatever we do is original and b) I don't have to ask some stranger for permission to print or share the finished product or to make minor alterations. If you want to do romance, or medical drama, or the biography of some obscure Panamanian farmer, go for it. If you want me to come up with a premise though so you don't get to pick something within your comfort zone, that's fine as well. Let me know.
-It doesn't have to be in full script format if that's a hassle. Notes on location, costume, body language, physical cues etc. make it easier for me, but I don't have to have that stuff at all. It's probably a pain in the ass to do panel by panel descriptions, so I wouldn't ask that of you. Really, all I need is something with more direction than a plain short story, and with each line of dialog (should you even use it) singled out so I can find the "beats."
No pressure at all. If you want to do this, awesome, I'd appreciate it and I can guarantee AT LEAST some of it will make it to the finished page; but if it's too much hassle or you don't have the time, I'm not trying to put you on the spot. Thanks dude!
