I FINALLY got around to purchasing The Golden Compass, a deep love from my past. I also watched the movie, and wasn't horribly horribly disappointed. Ill be able to give a better opinion of it when i finish the books again.
Also, Id decided long long long long ago that if i ever had a child that happened to be of the female type, Id name her Lyra. Middle name search had then happened, and ive finally found one.

They FINALLY Hired a donut fryer. Or rather, one that will actually come for work! Haha! Im pumped for that, plus 2 cashiers are leaving, meaning ill get s'more hours. I hate to see them leave (one in particular) but theyre both off to bigger and better (and golfier) things.

Im still looking around for another job, though how actively im looking is rather debatable.
