I would start this with a grrrrr, but you know what, I’ve just come back from t’ai chi and feel so buzzed and calm that I’m really not fussed. Instead I can just look at it as a positive opportunity to do some things I wouldn’t’ve been able to otherwise. I was meant to start a job on Wednesday, possibly today, fairly boring, similar thing to what I’ve done before, but work. Then, they phone me on Tuesday to tell me in fact I’m not going to be able to start ‘til next week cos they don’t have a computer for me. Bodes well, doesn’t it?! Main problem is it now means I won’t have any money coming in for another two weeks and I’m running pretty close to the line at the mo. Lol, still life goes on, I’ll just have to scrounge.
Apart from this slight set back, life’s been grand. Other day I went swimming and had the excitement of using my swimming card, so I just went to the desk and had it signed off instead of having to pay :D :D Thrilled me far too much, but simple minds and all. Then I actually met someone I knew at the pool! This never happens to me! (Slightly embarrassing as I take my glasses off to swim and can see jack shit, so I have to ask who they are!) It was someone who left school to go to college instead of do a levels. They finished last year and started in the IT department of a company up in London last September. Already have travelled to Frankfurt and have plenty of room to work their way up the ladder. Dude! I know someone my age working in London! Indescribably happy about this.
Ever tried visualising a toilet tissue as a person? What sort of personality would YOU give it? Energetic? Outgoing? Sensible? Calm? Comforting, perhaps? Lol. Today I went up town to post a package for my mum and ended up being roped into doing a questionnaire (I’m too soft I swear!) about, you guessed it, loo roll. Very amusing. Then in the afternoon, talking to my g’ma, I discovered that if you go into a shoe shop and ask, they’ll give you shoe boxes! For free!! Brilliant! So tomoz I am going to go get a shoe box. I do actually need it for tidying my room, a gargantuan task that has been foolishly undertaken, but you know what, I would’ve gone and done it anyway because you can get shoe boxes!! For freee!!!
Finally for today, I tried foam shower gel for the first time. Now, I was a little dubious about a small amount of foam being able to properly wash me (I’m a very dirty person!). But it really works; foamed up a treat, feels wonderful and I even put our yellow ducks at the end of the bath tub (though I don’t think they danced) :D
Baa for now :P
