End of Summer @ Lake Cushman

Nobody is more capable of spinning happiness than yourself. For some reason we fail to realize that what we make of a situation is our own responsibility. We're a hypocritical bunch aren't we? We strenuously fight for our freedom of {insert here} but truthfully we're quick to relinquish that responsibility when it becomes too complicated to fit into our nanosecond way of thinking. And if we're not satisfied with our present state we automatically block out any opportunity for fulfillment. Hell, I'm not trying to preach anything because I'm more than aware of how this is easy to forget. All it takes is realization which a lot of people lack. If you spend your life being miserable and suspending in a state of anxious waiting then you miss out on your life happening. This moment, right now, is your only lived experience.

Last week after giving myself to my work from 7am till 9pm trying to finish up a project for which I drastically miscalculated the expenses, I drove to Lake Cushman to meet up with the Chouinard and Wasyluka families for some nice relaxing fun.
