Day 1: Editing briefs about Christmas putzes. Every year they make me laugh. Just the thought's funny: Christmas putz. *snicker*
From the press release: The Moravian tradition of creating putzes has been part of Christmas celebration since the 1740s. A putz, which is a set of scenes depicting the story of the birth of Jesus, was often found in Moravian homes and churches for visitors to experience and share.
If you know any Yiddish, though, it's something COMPLETELY different, and really funny. *snicker*
