I love how the driving references throughout the story helps to pack the plot tightly together. I love how Happy's death is a sort of foreboding for Ohno's health worsening, but not really because everything got better in the end. I love Ohno's reply to Aiba's "I want to feel the world’s heart beating.". I love how it is so like him to suddenly think of that while watching fireworks. I love your imagery as usual, and all your parenthesis are so fitting and doesn't disrupt the flow, but instead contributes to the mood. I love the juxtaposition when you put Tokyo and their cottage side by side, how they are worlds apart but just just situated so near to each other. And that's how I imagine Jun and Aiba to be at the start when Jun first arrives. I also love how you characterised all 5 of them. How Ohno and Nino and Sho are all looking out for Aiba without being obvious, and Aiba's looking out for all 3 of them too - how he notices when Jun takes pictures of them. I love how the story flows with such beauty but at the same time there is sharpness when your characters are rough with each other and interacting with each other, reacting with the world. I love how Jun and Aiba are all searching, but in totally different directions entirely. I think that's how they are as people. I love how this lasts all till the end, even at the very last moment, both of them are still running still searching in different directions, but they've found each other and learnt how to face life at different speeds, and to slow down for the other person. I think that is beautiful. I love how Aiba is in this, that he is still feeling and more sensitive to things than the others, but he is still bright and amazing and encouraging and caring for the people around him. I love how he seriously thinks about what other people say to him, such that he goes to bed wondering about the answers to Jun's questions. I love Jun, I love how he knows in more ways than one. He knows how and when to say things that the occasion calls for because it's just amazing to even know a person like that because the rest of us are incredibly inadequate. I love the setting, I love the brightness and the pacing. I love every single bit of this fic, I could go on and on and on, but this is a crazy long comment. So just know how much I am in love with you for writing such amazing and fitting Jun/Aiba.
