Goddammit, Japan has like 3 holidays a month which would be good if I was in the workforce, but when you're trying to break into the workforce, it's impossible to apply anywhere cause everywhere is CLOSED. Seriously, who needs a holiday for the Autumn Equinox or for fucking SPORTS. Open your goddamn schools up so I can APPLY, or if you can't do that, at least write a goddamn email to me.
And just when the week starts again, here I go and get SICK. My sinus is an absolute nightmare. I fought to the death trying to stay awake the whole day yesterday so I could get a good night's sleep and get back on track, but sure enough, sickness arose and allowed me only 2 hours of rest. Now it's 9 in the morning and I feel like a sick, rotting copse, but I can't sleep because if I do, I'll wake up at 6pm and stay up all night again. Rinse, repeat. Liz doesn't get off until 5, and even then, she has to take the Ginza line through rush hour so I won't see her until 6:30. Every time I put on any clothes I feel like I am going to evaporate into sweat, so I don't think it's to wise to go on any Japanese adventures. What the hell am I going to do???
I am supposed to call this guy back who offered me a job starting immediately and tell him I can't work for him. The job seems great and all, but it's all the way out in Chiba (think Barrhaven except an hour and a half outside of Tokyo). Plus, Liz already got this other job which is like, 15 minutes from Shibuya (where all the young people party) on a university campus (where all the young people live), PLUS they are arranging accomodation. I'd much rather try and find work around there than commute for 2 hours out to Chiba every morning.
The weather is gorgeous here right now too. Ugh.
