To think I was spoiled by KROQ and WBCN in my last two places of living....
When running I tend to listen to the radio, since I'm not yet in the MP3 player generation, and today I had on Live 105 (KITS). Their weekend gimmick was top 10 lists, like top 10 electronica songs which I experienced on my run into lab. Well, on my run back, I was greeted by a Linkin Park song. And then another. And then another. It seemed the DJs were running a top 10 Linkin Park songs list.
New Rule: a band with fewer than n/2 (or better yet n) albums cannot have a Top n list, since the result is basically playing every overplayed Hybrid Theory song I experienced in college. Meh.
Fortunately, with each second I was one step closer to home and in the end nothing in the list surprised.
