Logic Masters India is hosting an online sudoku competition this weekend -
Classic Look-alikes - that was written by
Jan Mrozowski. The test lasts 2 hours and can be started at your leisure (your clock starts when you download the password). The puzzles include classic sudoku as well as 9 variations that look like classic sudoku but have additional rules that do not require additional graphical elements to be written into the grid. My only nit-pick is that Diagonal sudoku does not fit correctly in my mind as I really feel additional regions must be marked in the grid, particularly all diagonal constraints after my experiences at WSC2. Still, absolutely phenomenal puzzles for some of these styles and I highly recommend participating.
I was not used to the LMI interface - all numbers in the sudoku answers must be typed in and then submitted individually. I solved on paper, but made some careless typos when doing entries at the end so do check things carefully (as I did) to make sure you enter what you mean if you don't solve with their online interface.
