You know, I used to really be into anime. When I was like 14, it was probably my primary interest. Nowadays, though, beyond from rewatching old shows from time to time and watching the occasional new art house/Ghibli movie, I pretty much can't stand anime and am reluctant to even admit that I used to like it.

Sometimes I wonder why that is.

Then I remember how nowadays studios look to things like pachinko games as inspiration for new shows.

And my views make sense again.
