Mod Update RE Round 8...
Hi everyone,
First of all, thank you all so, so much for your participation this round! The turn out was fantastic and the icons were all amazing!
Secondly, I know I've only gotten round to posting the themes voting so far. This is mostly because of my utter failure as a mod, and I swear in the next couple of days I'll have the AC and Category up. I'll try and do it tonight if I can, but I can't promise anything...
Finally, what I really came here to discuss, as such: Round 8. I realise I haven't posted any sign ups yet, and there is a reason behind that. September is going to be an impossibly busy month for me. I will be around until the 4th, then will be on holiday from early morning on the 5th til late on the 12th. I will then be around until the 19th, which is when I will be going off to University, and the week inbetween that will be spent panicking/packing/squeeing (delete as appropriate). Basically, what I'm trying to say is that I highly doubt I'm going to have time to run Round 8 properly this month. Therefore, what I'm suggesting is that we give everyone a well deserved month off and I will post sign ups on the 18th, just before I go to uni to make sure that everything's up and running before I go, and then I'll be settled in come October 1st.
This is, of course, unless someone would want to volunteer to run round 8? I know elfi_bean did an awesome job with Round 4, and if anyone would like to have a go, I can e-mail you all the HTML I use. If you think you're up for the job, drop me a comment. If there's more than one of you, I'm sure we can all come to some kind of agreement. Please wave a big, huge, massive hello to the saviour of Round 8 - un4tunate! I'm sure she's gonna do an amazing job!
So I'm very very sorry for being such a failure as a mod, but I promise I will be better once I'm at uni! Honestly!
