I was up late. Went to school. My professor told us how he caught this kid cheating in his upper level class (I dont care I dont cheat). Talked to Megan for a brief couple minutes then Brenda, Ruthie, and myself went to moderate the SG debates or meet the candidates. My question got asked and they did a nice job of answering it. Lol I'll go ahead and answer that for you. Greek Week is just kind of like a pride week for us. Remember Spirit Week and the pep rally? Well everyday is a pep rally for us. Everyday we have different events, and each organization gets points for whatever place they come in. Due to unfortunate incidents in the past, contact sports such as basketball, football, and broomball have combined teams... meaning members of D Phi E, Phi Mu, Phi Sig, AOE and KOX are on one team, against the same combination. This year we've added a few charity type games, such as a coin war kinda thing and also we are charging at the door for the biggest Greek Week event, Mock Rock. Mock Rock is just a dance competition. Each organization creates a mock dance to a few different songs that total up to 5 minutes (used to be 6 minutes). There are judges and at the end a winner. Each place receives a certain amount of points. This used to be held at a bar but because of risk management, it had to be moved to campus. There is a scoreboard on the bulletins in that one hallway in the UC. At the end of the week, scores are tabulated and the person with the most points wins... pretty much the same as Spirit Week in high school with the crazy hair day and all that fun stuff.

So basically that's Greek Week wrapped up in a nutshell. It a week for each Greek org to go crazy and show their pride while competing in different events. It's alot of fun and very, VERY competitive. Phi Mu won it the two years and we're fighting this year to keep our title. Even if you don't win, it's a lot of fun and brings each individual organization closer together. I hope this explanation helps! If you want I can send you a schedule of events if you wana come out and watch. I know tonight we'll be at Snooker's in Livonia for pool and darts, and foosball and broomball will be around noon on campus tomorrow. And then there's Mock Rock which I think you should def come out and see! If you have any more questions let me know :)
