You'll just have to boycott it, and hope that others do too. Alas, I am 95% certain Mim will drag me along to see it. Oh no!

Is it just me or do all the posters for those sorts of movies look the same?

I think if I ever made a film I'd have to make sure that my poster was full of creative originality.

Did the niceness of the movie make up for a bad lead actress? Often that makes it too hard to watch, even if everyone else is alright.

Yeah, to an extent. You can sort of block it out but it's always there, niggling. One to see on dvd, perhaps.
