hello from downtown san francisco!
Any of you live around here? We went to a restaurant called Burma ★ Superstar yesterday, and it was delicious! They served samosas mixed into a salad with spices and things, and cold beer with lemon and ginger.
We are at Hotel Kabuki in Japan Town, holding AOD. Hotel Kabuki is like one of those 1700s historical reenactment resorts where you have to wear bonnets and chop firewood, except with haori lounging robes, decorative alcoves, shogi screens, and Japanese-style baths that have no shower curtain and a place to rinse off before you get in. MY BUDDY ANDY HAS A SAUNA IN HIS ROOM. A sauna. It's all really wigging me out guys.
I have heard from many people today how well organized the con is, which makes me so proud of usssss. Gosh, what a nice weekend! If you guys are around, please come by and say hello. I am happy to meet you all but also I am excited to fly home tomorrow night and finish all my fan fictions right?
