I've confused all the stories I know about LA with ones that I've written myself. I fail.

And Six Feet Under.

But half the time I'll see a movie/show that's based somewhere else and only recognize it as being in LA because they were too cheap to film elsewhere.

(South Park is actually taking on a very LA tone in its themes lately, but I think it's because the writers have lived here too long and the only way one will notice is if they, surprise, LIVE HERE. But this is unrelated and just something I've noticed this season.)
